Recycling & Litter Abatement

URBAN URBANE takes the philosophy of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, & Repurpose to heart. As a strong believer in stewardship, I go to great lengths to recycle or reuse the products and packaging I consume in my own home, as well as the majority of the litter I pick up on the HOA properties that I clean.

Below you can view photographs which document the materials that I save, find, glean, collect, and recycle on a regular basis.

In addition to picking up litter on the properties I clean (which I get paid to do), I also voluntarily pick up litter in my community. I have randomly included vacant lots, city parks, back alleys, bus stops, medians, parking lots, and the like, as well as regularly participating in many local clean-up events sponsored by community groups and neighborhood associations. You can read about the events and see photos here.

Below you can view photos of the litter I picked up when I was working with Grabbits.org. From 2017 through 2020 I used the Litterati App and picked and geo-tagged up over 33,000 piece of litter.
